Are you wondering if hiring a wedding planner is the right decision for you?

Take a look below to clarify some of your doubts:

COVID 19: DON’T GIVE UP ON YOUR DREAM!

Marriage and Coronavirus: These are not two words that sound very well together!
That’s why many brides have, rightly, preferred to postpone their wedding. Many 2020 weddings have been postponed to 2021, many couples have not found a place in 2021 and have had to choose 2022 and so on … postponing seems to be the best choice, but… until when? Are you willing to give up your marriage for years?

MC Italian Wedding suggests  you the realization of a new dream, with new rules, a different organizational timing and strategies that have nothing to do with classical planning!

What does it mean? Before we started by choosing the wedding date, today  it’s quite the opposite: the last piece of the wedding process to choose is THE DATE, taking advantage of the first available opening promptly.

This is possible because many parts of the wedding process can be organized well in advance!

Think about your idea of wedding: classic, romantic, country, vintage… and leave us the effort to schedule the right timing for your Event, trust us for a cautious choice of the main services as well as the supervision of every little detail so, together, we will remain on the starting line, ready to get married, even in a few days.

WHY SHOULD YOU HIRE A WEDDING PLANNER?

Because it is very difficult to juggle the Italian bureaucracy!

Especially, if you are looking for a civil or religious ceremony, where legal documents are required, the times to obtain them are sometimes very long, town hall officers don’t speak English very well which can lead to misunderstandings and often, couples who have tried to go through the process themselves and have issues with paperwork, made mistakes with documents and so on.

That’s why, above all, in the case of destination wedding, MC Italian Wedding suggests couples to consider the help of a professional.

WHY SHOULD YOU CHOOSE ITALY AS YOUR DESTINATION WEDDING?

Italy is an amazing country, where hospitality is an art!

From North to South, passing through the Centre, you can discover different and enchanting landscapes: the magic atmosphere of Como and Maggiore lakes, the natural and relaxing vibe of Tuscan hills, with olive trees fields and vineyards, the blue sea of the South and the islands to the most romantic cities in the world, Venice, Florence, Rome… are just some of the reasons. Good food and excellent wines complete the picture for an unforgettable reception!

HOW WE WORK

We only do tailored made packages suggesting to our couples the best professional suppliers, according to their budget, needs and style.

HOW DO PAYMENT TERMS WORK

We ask for a deposit at the signing of the contract to guarantee our assistance. Based on how long before the event is scheduled, we request a second or a third deposit up to the balance 20 days before the event. Payments can be made via bank transfer or PayPal (adding 6%).

COMMISSIONS: WHAT DOES IT MEAN?

Commissions are something very common in the wedding and event industry where it is standard practice for an event organiser to receive compensation from vendors employed in the event.
However, this practice sometimes is not carried out correctly for  two reasons:

  • Lack of transparency & trust: some wedding planners take commissions covertly and hardly ever disclose this to their couples. This is not our way as we always explain to our couples right from the start how we handle commissions;
  • Suppliers can sometimes be inflated: it means that they increase their prices to you, to accommodate planner’s commission. In our opinion, this is not right at all so that we accept a commission from suppliers who do NOT inflate the price to the client.

HIDDEN COSTS AND PAYMENTS

In Italy, some costs and payments are mandatory.

For foreign people it can be tricky to understand that price will have to include a VAT tax, that can vary from 10% to 22%. It is due to all the services which take place within the Italian territory.

Another compulsory Italian tax is SIAE, that must be paid to be allowed to play music for a group of people. It is a very important permit, which is based on a party’s number of guests, venue area, type of event and type of music.
